How to set proxy in browser
The following are instructions to configure various browsers to use an http proxy server.
Instructions for Internet Explorer
- 1.On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options.
- 2.Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN Settings.
- 3.Select the "Use a proxy server for your LAN" check box.
- 4.Click Advance button
- 5.Input the proxy server IP address and port
- 6.Click OK to close the Proxy settings dialog.
- 7.Click OK to close the LAN Settings dialog.
- 8. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog.
Instructions for Firefox
- 1.On the Tools menu in Firefox, click Options.
- 2.Select the Network tab.
- 3.Click the Setting... button.
- 4.Select the "Manual proxy configuration" radio button.
- 5.Input the proxy IP address and port.
- 6.Click OK to close Connection Settings dialog.
- 7.Click OK to close Options dialog.
Instructions for Opera
- 1.On the Menu of Opera, select Settings->Preferences...
- 2.Switch to Advance tab.
- 3.Select "network" item in left side.
- 4.Click "Proxy servers" button.
- 5.Select "HTTP" checkbox, and input proxy IP and port.
- 6.Click OK to close the Proxy servers dialog.
- 7.Click OK to close the Preferences dialog.
